MUSEUM PEDAGOGY AS A THEORETICAL BASIS OF PEDAGOGICAL AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY OF CULTURE-EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

The article describes the general characteristics of the interaction of museums and educa-tional institutions; its main directions and content are analyzed; the peculiarities of communication in the system "museum - educational institution" are revealed. The museum space in which the museum action aimed at transmitting to society the values of material and spiritual culture is characterized. It is revealed that the realization of the social mission of museums, educational tasks of educational activity of various museums (historical, literary, local, archeological, zoological, geological, art, musical, natural, etc.) is provided on the basis of constant updating of content, forms and methods of pedagogical educational interaction of museum and educational institutions. This requires the professional training of museum teachers in institutions of higher pedagogical education. It is proved that active teaching of students the methods of conducting classes in the museum environment, revealing their specifics, training skills to conduct them in the form of business games, discussions, dialogue, select innovative methods, tools, techniques, develop creative activity with museum cultural resources, critical thinking contribute to the professional competencies training of future teachers. For productive interaction in the conditions of formal and non-formal learning it is expedient to carry out selection and structuring of material for carrying out museum lessons and other occupations taking into account didactic requirements to the organization. The statement on pedagogical interaction of museums and educational institutions is substantiated, the effectiveness of which depends on the teacher's personality, which should motivate students to learn about museum artifacts, and modern museum environment.
